'We sing incomplete version of Vande Mataram because of Muslims' - Usha Thakur

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) : BJP MLA in Madhya Pradesh Usha Thakur recently stated that because of Muslims they cannot sing complete version of 'Vande Mataram' song.

She said even though the song consists of 5 paragraphs, only 2 are actually sung in order to not hurt the sentiments of Muslims. "When Muslims prohibit from singing the song then how can they participate in garbha and dance in front of statue of Goddess Durga?," she questioned.
The 48-year old Thakur is the Vice President Of BJP and in-charge of cultural wing in Indore. She started getting active in social events fron 1989. She is a post graduate and M.Phil in Education and History.
